Sample Menus
FOOD - nutrition, energy, comfort, sustenance, happiness - LIFE! Whatever you call it, or however you view it, deep down, we all know it's important to get food right, especially when you're outdoors and burning calories. That's why we've put together menus that we know you'll enjoy. We take care of the catering, so you can focus on soaking up the other stuff. We'll be serving up food that is nutritious, plentiful and designed to power those legs up the steepest of gradients... Bon Appetite!

Basecamp
When in basecamp, we're able to provide simple, wholesome meals that we'll enjoy together, around a table, usually before we depart on an expedition or part way through, when we're in an established campsite. Refuelling is essential and even better when surrounded by like-minded people telling stories and recounting epic adventures. Our basecamp menus look something like this:
Breakfast

Porridge with honey, raisins, blueberries etc.

A selection of breakfast cereals

Toast with a range of condiments

Eggs - boiled or poached

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juices
Lunch

Sandwiches, rolls, wraps - ham and cheese, tuna and mayo, chicken and sweetcorn or whatever you fancy (within reason)

Mountain soup with a crusty roll

Fruit, home made fruit cake / flapjack, trail mix etc.
Evening Meal

Pasta - Spinach ravioli with mushrooms, vegetarian caponata, creamy garlic chicken

Homemade pizza - ham and pineapple, spicy chorizo, chicken and sweetcorn, a classic margherita or toppings to suit your mood. With our own pizza oven, we can cook any pizza in 90 seconds, so why choose just one pizza?

Wilderness Camp
When we're out in the wilds, we'll be using micro stoves to cook on. Whilst this does simplify a few things, it doesn't mean that we can't enjoy great food. The key here is to bring food that packs down, weighs as little as possible, creates minimal mess and uses fuel efficiently. Our Wilderness menus look something like this:
Breakfast

Firepot - beef stew with pearl barley, posh baked beans, chilli con carne and rice, vegan orzo pasta bolognese, barbecued pulled pork, chicken keema curry etc.
